Tips From a Substitute for Educators, Students & Substitutes
Throughout my substitute teaching I have tried a multitude of strategies. I have perused recommendations online, seeking advice on how to effectively do my job. I have had glorious triumphs and catastrophic failures. And now that I have some experience under my belt, I would like to offer the world a few of my own recommendations. The following posters have been designed strictly from my experience as a substitute teacher. They all encompass some of the need-to-know information that I feel is important, unrecognized, or helpful for the role a substitute must play. They were all created using the program Canva, which is a very easy-to-use program that allows you to design a variety of documents. Each document below is an attempt to lend the substitute, the educator, and the student advice on how to make the school day go as smoothly as possible for substitutes. The job of the substitute is no easy feat. And so, here are my tips to make the life of the substitute just a little bit easier.
